The ensemble will cover a variety of styles and artists within the Classic Rock genre. For the advancing student, one of the most important processes is technical mastery of music within a given style. This process of learning parts and the role they have within an ensemble, truly makes a player proficient in myriad settings.
The most fulfilling/motivating experience for a musician is to hear ones hard work really sound good!!!
Each student will be assigned parts to learn. Through these parts, students will be encouraged and taught how to expand upon the original music and to improvise. Students from all styles and levels would gain from the experience understanding and enjoying music from the Classic Rock repertoire!!!
